How to get over a creative block?

To me, creativity is everywhere and one is always creating, even when one is not. I think the number one reason for creative blocks is how lost we get in our own world, the key to creativity is stepping outside.

When we label or almost burden a profession with the word “creative”, I think we often miss out on what it really means to be creative. Because in the end, everyone is creating, whether it’s making a post, a vada pav or even a road. The ocean of ideas and possibilities has forever been endless.

I firmly believe everyone is creative and that’s the beauty of creativity. One’s own vision, ideas and a way of looking at the world.

Talking about current trends and the world’s obsession with chatGPT and its replacement for creative professionals, I think that’s bullshit. Because humans have something that Chat GPT can never develop, perspective. And all of creativity is just that honing and shaping one’s perspective by simply living life.

I think that’s the reason why I have never had a creative block in my life. Because if I’m not creating, I’m dreaming, travelling, thinking. Ideas are everywhere, on every street, in the air, one just needs to look. One’s creative process should be never-ending and endless, like the ocean.

Lastly, I think one must never beat oneself up for not being able to create because it’s entirely contrary to the natural process which I just explained. Creativity should be and is, effortless. Can’t write? Dance, Can’t design? Travel, listen to thy intuition and thou shall create.
